What a course!:) Keep it up. Course idea: complete nice and big web based project using spring, hibernate (+popular db such as MySQL) spring security, and Java 8 features of course + how to run your application on web to share your success with grandma :) I know that there are already beginner spring course, but you know that this is all basics :)

There is also a Pro workshop Deploying a Spring Application which I think Chris uses MySQL to deploy to Heroku.
