On the free trial and comparing to linda.com, I know I why I am enjoying Treehouse but I would like to hear from others as well.
Has anyone tried both?

I have not tried both, but i took a look on their site and it was quit messy compaird to treehouse in my opinion.

2,435 PointsTheres no competition into them. Its kind of different really.
Here at threehouse, you learn web developement, apps developement, design and some business . Lynda is more of a software company. Video , adobe photoshop etc... there are stuff that are useful as well as here on web , but not as good. I wont reccomend going there untill you get the basics here. Because there is a little messed up form the last time i was there.
I would say that there are moe vidoes about business , google analitics etc.. but that has like over 10 year and has a lot more vidoes.
Treehouse is a small business 8m per eyar while lynda is 100m year . Treehouse is new :) soon it will grow big with the best information fro web and apps , and some business, or rather the key business. It has design too but too. Treehouse is also allways updated, or most of the time. Wheres on lynda you can learn a technology used in 2005 , like i did.. and its not nice to re-learn it . I had to do it .
If you want app or web, just stay here. Then in any other subject lynda has more videos and more categories. But hey! Treehouse teaches you basics. Then when you get advanced, you can go there i believe in web and app. Lynda has also some good tutorials about e.g C/C++ Basics , its differently structured there as well , sort of . I choosed treehouse over lynda since now i dont have lynda. I had lynda for 8 months, it was free as one of my teacher gaved me his pass :)
