Followed instructions, but Gmail blocks the test email. As the method in the video does not work anymore, will an updated working solution be added?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'll go through the course and see what corrections we need to make -- we'll update the video if there's a workaround (or remove it, if there isn').

6,616 PointsAIDEN POTTER I had the same problem that gmail was blocking my test mail then I came across a post on TeamTreeHouse: link post in gmail you have to enable “Less Secure Apps” secure app access and "turn on" . Normally it should work now, for me it did.
