Xamarin - Are there any course scheduled ?

Hello,

It's my first question on Treehouse. I just began using the website a month ago, and I find it amazing! Kudos to the whole team!

I recently red an article about the power of Xamarin, being able to build native apps with C#, and sharing the core of the apps between Android and iOS. Are there any release scheduled on the subject? I also red that C# and .NET courses are coming to Treehouse, and I just wanted to know if it will be included in these courses.

Thank you for your responses!

PS: sorry if my English is not perfect, I'm French ;)

I think we can be reasonably sure we won't see a course about Xamarin anytime soon.

According to the Treehouse content roadmap and the Trello board posting, future planned courses include:

  • C# Objects (coming in March 2016)
  • C# Data Structures
  • ASP .NET MVC
  • Entity Framework Basics
  • ASP .NET Web API
  • Unit Testing C#
  • C# Design Patterns

Except for C# Objects (which has been delayed twice), no scheduled release dates have been announced. And that one still has no trailer and cannot be bookmarked yet.
