General Discussion

Anymore C# or C++ being added to the curriculum?

Just wondering, diving in pretty heavily into the visual studio environment. Just wondering if these languages are going to be receiving more support at Treehouse.

I'm sure there will be more C# courses coming in the future. However, I'm fairly confident that there will never be any C++ courses here on Treehouse. I can't remember the actual reason and have been unable to find the original posting about it, but don't count on any C++.

The C# courses are coming pretty regularly, ASP.NET MVC Basics was just released, and we're expecting C# Streams and Data Processing this month. Keep an eye on the content roadmap for further developments.

The question of possible C++ courses gets asked regularly, like here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here (I guess nobody ever searches the forum history!).

Anyway, as reported in one of those older postings, "Ryan Carson (Co-founder and CEO of Treehouse) said Treehouse won't release a course on C++." So you can probably take that as the definitive answer.

Judging from all of those links, I couldn't help but notice a demand? That aside I look forward to the updates on C# course. Thanks again for the prompt response.
