4,498 PointsIs anyone else interested in iOS games development?
Hi,
I recently emailed treehouse support if they planned on teaching how to code games for iOS and they said that they don't plan to cover iOS games development in the near future but they would consider it if there is enough interest.
Is anyone else here who uses treehouse interested in learning iOS games development (possibly using cocos2d)? Games are pretty big on the app store and it seems like it would be a sensible move for treehouse to teach this competency.
If anyone else is interested please contact treehouse and let them know you are into possibly learning how to code games on treehouse or post in the comments of this post.
Cheers,
Calvin

10,611 PointsI make iOS games full-time! So I imagine other people here do too! Not a fan of all the rewritten code in Cocos2d that is already in Cocoa Touch, but I would certainly take the courses anyway.

Treehouse TeacherI came across this tutorial this weekend that looks pretty interesting. If anyone has similar links, feel free to drop them in!

10,611 Points@Ben Jakuben,
I love finding cool game tutorials using just Cocoa Touch and some C. It seems pure and true to the platform! Not so sure Cocos2d is necessary for most games that work well for iOS.
Great find man! I hope he adds more to that series.
P.S. Been taking the Android classes you teach. It is changing my view of Android so thanks!
Thanks,
Joe
