Slack for Techdegree Students1:06 with Chris Zabriskie
Learn how Slack, the instant messaging application, lets you connect with other students, ask questions about projects, and help other students who have questions and need help.
Your Treehouse Tech degree is going to take a lot of individual hard work and
dedication, but even if you're the only one at your desk, you're not alone.
You can join an entire community of students just like you on Slack.
Slack is a messaging app that lets you talk to other tech degree students,
you can ask questions and get answers in real time.
The Treehouse support team also jumps in to answer questions, and
don't be surprised if you find Treehouse teachers joining the conversation too.
Have a question about a project, no problem, each project has its own channel,
so all you have to do is ask away.
You can even include a code snippet to help others understand your question,
soon enough, you'll have your answer.
Slack is also a great place for sharing tips and tricks with others, or
even just chatting for fun.
For that there's the chit chat channel, you might even find fellow students in
your area to meet for coffee before a local meetup.
There's a lot more that we think you'll love, so
we're excited for you to join the new Tech Degree Community on Slack.
