Course Request: Python

Hi, I recently installed Ubuntu 12.10 and really liked it for the wide variety of tools to aid my web development and design work. I thought Treehouse could introduce desktop programming courses (so things like Python basically); Ubuntu/Linux ones in particular. I know this is a massive topic and request from my side but please consider it.

Not only that, Python isn't only for desktop; it plays a big part on the web as well (Reddit uses Python!). An introductory or Deep Dive Python course would be fantastic, covering things like Google App Engine or other web application hosting services and/or frameworks.

Thanks.

Python is a pretty sweet language, it's been mention around these parts a few times. I'm hoping Treehouse makes a Python course in 2013.

In the meantime you can check out the How I taught myself to code in 8 weeks featuring Python & Django.

Codecademy also has a Python course which has some great practice

Thanks. I'm glad someone agrees with me.

I would really like to see a Python/Django course as well.
