Getting Started with WordPress
Before we start building our blog, we are going to learn about the software we will be using to make our blog: WordPress. Two versions of WordPress exist, WordPress.com and Wordpress.org. We’ll learn the differences between the two and how to access which is better for a project. Finally we’ll walk through the process for installing WordPress online.

Now that you have successfully installed and setup WordPress, try setting up another WordPress install in a subfolder on your site.
For example, if you site is yourdomain.com, then try setting it up in yourdomain.com/wordpress2.
Also, try setting up a WordPress.com site and famliarize yourself with what the sign up process and admin area experience is like in relation to working with WordPress.org.
