Python Flask Basics Welcome to Flask Request args

Flask: Didn't get expected response, but typed exactly what the video demos plus other students had the same syntax.

Error message states didn't get expected response. Having trouble debugging. Have read other students questions/answers with the same issue but the responses haven't been a solution.

flask_app.py
from flask import Flask
from flask import request

app = Flask(__name__)

@app.route('/')
def index(name="LB"):
    name = request.args.get('name', name)
    return 'Hello from {}'.format(name)

Lauren;

You are super close. The challenge wants you to return "Hello {name}", not "Hello from {name}".

Update that and you should be all set.

Post back with further questions and happy coding.
