" Adding Validation " doesn't work anymore in Bootstrap 4 (Sept 2017)

https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/components/forms/#validation I couldn't add validation class both to parent and child element.

Pls kindly advise if there's any substitute

I can only change the outline border of the input (border-danger) and label text (text-danger).
