Bummer! `just_right` didn't return the right answer.

I know that I have to many if statements here but I'm not sure how else to write it.

strlen.py
def just_right(string):
    if len(string) == 5:
        return True
    if len(string) > 5:
        return "Your string is too short"
    if len(string) < 5:
        return "Your string is too long"

Hi Canen,

Your syntax is spot on :thumbsup: ... However, your conditional checks are backwards. You seem to be checking to see if the string is less than for the string "... too long" and greater than for the "... too short". Just fix up that error and the rest is good-to-go.

Nice job & Keep Coding! :) :dizzy:

How can I rewrite it with only one if statement?
