‘Hand’ doesn’t have a ‘roll’ method.. second task for the dice challenge. Can’t seem to figure it out. Please help.

Can’t seem to grasp this concept. Any help would be appreciated.

dice.py
import random

class Die:
    def __init__(self, sides=2):
        if sides < 2:
            raise ValueError("Can't have fewer than two sides")
        self.sides = sides
        self.value = random.randint(1, sides)

    def __int__(self):
        return self.value

    def __add__(self, other):
        return int(self) + other

    def __radd__(self, other):
        return self + other

class D20(Die):
    def __init__(self):
        super().__init__(sides = 20)
hands.py
from dice import D20

class Hand(list):
    def __init__(self, size=0, die_class=D20):
        self.size = size
        super().__init__()
        for _ in range(size):
            self.append(die_class())

    @classmethod
    def rolls(cls, size=2):
        return cls(size)

    @property
    def total(self):
        return sum(self)

Hi Kayla,

There are a few things you’ll still have to do after getting past this error, and I don’t want to spoil your chance to work through that aspect so I won’t comment on that yet. If you need some help after you get past this initial error, let me know.

As for the error you’re receiving at the moment, your Hand class does not have a roll method. It has a rolls method. The test is trying to call Hand.roll(), but a roll method doesn’t exist. Remove the s at the end of your roll definition, and that’ll get you moving forward.
