++ increment operator is outdated. =+ is correct in the current version of swift.

I'm not completely sure but i think it might be replaced with +=, in the code challenge just use ++ but soon you will likely be typing: val1 += 1 which will do val1 = val1 + 1. I like to do it the old fashioned way by just doing val1 = val1 + 1.
