About SubClass

So is it ok to write life outside the subclass's init method?

var life: Int = 50

instead of self.life = 50

1 Answer

All instance properties must be initialized in the init method.

What would the benefit be to initializing outside of the init in this case? Since the problem wasn't included in the question it is hard to give a more thorough answer. For future questions I would recommend including the problem set for context.
