If I was to stop payment on my treehouse account for a couple months would all my progress and info be saved?

Yes it will. I have already stopped my membership couple of times, and when I came back everything was the same.

If you pause your account, your account and progress will still be saved. But if you cancel your account, everything is deleted. So what you want to do is pause.
