Add a Boolean value to the condition in this conditional statement. Use a boolean value that will result in the message

I dont understand where I fault

No need for the extra variable. All you need to do for this is pass true into the if statement like this:

if ( true) {
    alert('This is true');
} else {
    alert('This is false');
}

Just so you know though, there is no issue with your code. That is properly formatted Javascript which does work in any other situation. It's just not what they were looking for in this code challenge.
