Python Flask Basics Welcome to Flask Multiply View

Add a view named multiply. Give multiply a route named /multiply. Make multiply() return the product of 5 * 5. Remember,

from flask import Flask

app = Flask(name)

@app.route('/') @app.route('/multiply/<int:num1>/<int:num2>') def multiply(num1, num2): return "{} * {} = {}".format(num1, num2, num1*num2)

app.run(debug=True, port = 8000,host ='0.0.0.0')

where did I go wrong?

flask_app.py
from flask import Flask

app = Flask(__name__)

@app.route('/')
@app.route('/multiply/<int:num1>/<int:num2>')
def multiply(num1, num2):
    return "{} * {} = {}".format(num1, num2, num1*num2)

app.run(debug=True, port = 8000,host ='0.0.0.0')

What section of the challenge are you on? It looks like your answer is for future sections of this challenge.

The challenge you have pasted is requesting that you return the product of 5 * 5 and right now you are returning the product of the arguments.

So this part of the challenge would look something like:

@app.route('/multiply')
def multiply():
    product = 5 * 5
    return f'{product}'

The next several sections of the challenge will ask you to add in some of those other elements that you had coded though!

I was on the first task. Thank you for your help.
