Add an if statement task

Hi! What is wrong with this code snippet? When I run the program it tells me to try again. Many thanks!

// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";
if (firstExample.equals(secondExample)){
  console.printf("first is equal to second \n\n");

Hi Leontin Vasii πŸ‘‹

Your conditional looks great and is exactly what is being asked in the challenge. To pass the tests you'll want to remove the System.exit(0);. This is not required and is currently throwing off the tests for this challenge πŸ™‚

Hope this helps!
