adding a erase button to the drawing board

in the app we created in the Jquery course as an drawing board, it is nice and everything but what if a client wants to erase the line he created what would be a great solution for it, sure you could use a white color since the background is white, but it would still be a draw, what if we want to actually remove the context from a specific spot at the canvas, or even reset the canvas without losing the color you created??
