AFAIK, onDestroy is not guaranteed to call for non-rotation cases (OS kills app). How to approach those cases?

onDestroy is called on rotation but is not guaranteed to call when: 1- User navigates away from the app 2- Activity loses focus 3- onPause > onStop are called 4- Sometime later Android OS decides to kill the app 5- onDestroy is not called

In this scenario do we need to ensure the subscriptions are cleared out?
