Im having a bit of trouble figuring out where the alert needs to be placed

function max(a,b)
if( a > b) {
   return a;

else {
     return b;


I know (10,20) should be (2,10) ;)

so your code is looking right you just need to put


instead of just

The alert goes were you give 'max' it's values:

alert( max(2,10))
