Allow ^ $ and * to be entered as fill in the blank answers

I have just completed these questions however despite knowing the answers I got some wrong by simply not knowing their true names or the spelling of their true names. Could Treehouse accept the symbols too? I also had to Google ^ as the accent of the guy sounded like "carrot". I then tried "carat". I found out after that it was in fact, "caret". :-)
