Java Java Objects (Retired) Creating the MVP For Each Loop

Am Stuck on this task creating a method getTileCount,

Am not sure how to go about it I have tried my best, but I keep getting an error that the method is not created.

ScrabblePlayer.java
public class ScrabblePlayer {
  private String mHand;

  public ScrabblePlayer() {
    mHand = "";
  }

  public String getHand() {
   return mHand;
  }

  public void addTile(char tile) {
    // Adds the tile to the hand of the player
    mHand += tile;
  }

  public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
   return mHand.indexOf(tile) > -1;
  }

  public char getTileCount(){
    char count = 0;
    for (char letter: mHand.toCharArray()){
      count += letter;
    }
    return count;
  }
}

The type of the method should be "int" and should receive a char parameter so you can check how many times that char appears in the mHand.

  public int getTileCount(char tile){
    int count = 0;
    for (char letter: mHand.toCharArray()){
      if (letter == tile) {
        count++;
      }
    }
    return count;
  }

I hope that helps a little bit
