Anchor Tag Within List for "Creating HTML Content" Challenge

Hello, I am trying to create a <a href> within a <li> element. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any suggestions? My code is below

''' <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>Nick Pettit</title> </head> <body> <header> <a href="index.html"> <nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li> </ul> </nav> <h1>Nick Pettit</h1> <h2>Designer</h2> </a> </header> <section></section> <footer> <p>Ā© 2013 Nick Pettit.</p> </footer> </body> </html> '''

Anchor tag within list should be like this:

<li><a href="example.html">example</a></li>

Hmm, thats weird I tried to post it in the batsticks. Hahha I just figured out what a backstick is :P. Here is the code

<nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>

If this is your code, you're doing it right.

Man I am very confused then. Tried it again today and it wouldn't work. Must be an issue with the site. Thank you for your help!
