android draw path on canvas! Please help

I want to make an android app where there will be a canvas and below that there are arrow buttons..like a simple joystick...what i want is that...if i press the direction button.path should be drawn on the canvas according to the direction..please help me...my main aim is to generate a maze dynamically using the arrow buttons...Please help its urgent.
