Android Emulator Setup

I need help setting up the Android Emulator. This is the message that I am getting: Cannot launch AVD in emulator. Output: emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration! Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable. CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!

Try to use Genymotion instead, it's faster and smooth, than default android emulator

Kimberly, your CPU/BIOS most likely cannot handle the x86 emulators. Try downloading one of the images where the ABI description is armeabi-v7a.
