Hi Ben-- about the Crystal Ball app! i heard about it via the blogreader app and contacted support about it. They tell me it will never be available because it is outdated. I really wish you would have it available as a course marked retired.

  1. It seems like good practice to redo in Android Studio
  2. I really want to play with animations and have a crystal ball app
  3. Alot of us strive to have rank #1 on treehouse, and veterans who have been around for 1+ years will have a really unfair advantage if they have a bunch of now unobtainable badges.

Also the older videos seemed to have alot more humour (with mike, and the android costume type stuff), can you bring it back for new videos?

Thanks for all your videos though, your my favorite!

Thanks, Travis! I am not leaving Treehouse, but I am transitioning into a leadership role on the teaching team and only have one more course left to complete. :( It's very bittersweet for me! I will personally make sure that Android is left in good hands, and hopefully I'll have time to contribute again in the future in some way. :)

I am extremely well-versed in MIT App Inventor. Do you think there might be a place for me at Treehouse to teach a visual programming language aimed at kids?

I wish I knew enough to teach. I know that teaching can help retain information better. I would do it!
