Android RTP

I am looking to build a "simple" rtp app for Android. I know I need two ports toe send on and two ports to receive on (audio, video). I know I need to target API 16 and newer which means I'll be needing to use CAMERA and CAMERA2. Beyond that, I don't know much.

Admittedly this requirement came from work so I will be using any knowledge gained for that. But I was thinking of starting a github repo to build an open foundation for others to use. Again I don't know much so if anyone want to help out it is always appreciated.
