Android Studio 2.2 Button disappear [Newbie]

Good day, i am currently doing one project which 2 buttons which are check in and check out. If i press check in then check in button will disappear then if i press check out button then it check out button will disappear also. May i know how to do this? Thanks

Views have a setVisibility() method that takes a single argument of the form View.VISIBLE, View.INVISIBLE and View.GONE, which are constants defined in the View class.
