Android studio fails downloading. Tried Chrome & Firefox, treehouse version and latest version from Android. Help!

I've tried everything I can think of. Apparently this is a known issue, but none of the advice out on the net seems to work so far. I've read there is some method to download from the console that solves the problem, but have no idea how to do that. That or any other ideas? Please Help!
