android studio & genymotion emulators not working

emulator in both android studio & genymotion won't work for me. android's emulator says theres something wrong with my build. i even deleted android studio & reinstalled it and the jdk 8 but it still won't work. I've had this problem for two weeks. I'm super stuck on my app project & need help.

Any error messages in the Run console (Alt+4 in Android Studio) when you launch?

Have you made sure that you have the 'Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator (HAXM installer)' installed in the SDK Manager under the Android SDK section? Use Intel if you're running the latest version of Android Studio (2.1.1 currently)
