Android studio settings problem

My android studio is not showing any app development related settings .On starting a new project it didn't ask for Package name , API level or any such settings . It is launching some general project, not specific to app development . Can someone help me with this ?

No ..I downloaded it from developer.android.com ..but it was working fine till now
