    fin8= fir4 + las4
    return fin8

def odds(ite):
    return list(ite)[1::2]

def reverse_evens(ite):
    reverse_ite= list(ite)[::-1]
    return reverse_ite[1::2]

You're close, but you're dependent on the size of the list. Try getting the even indexes first, and then reverse them.
