Another way to handle the statusCode error?

While I've watched the video I've paused it and tried to figure that out on my own. So, I've written this in my app.js and it seems to work fine:

      // statusCode error
      printError({message: "There was an error getting the profile for " + username + ". [" + response.statusCode + response.statusMessage + "]"})

So, is my way to handle that statusCode Error wrong? It looks much simpler to me :) Thanks for every answer!!
