Any alternatives for .htaccess? Unable to setup with my current host.

Unfortunately I can't setup an .htaccess file for URL rewrites bc my current host (Yahoo) doesn't support/allow it. Sadly I'm stuck with Yahoo for another 8 months, so in the meantime I was curious if there are any alternatives for those who can't use an .htaccess file.

Thank you!

Hello Dominic!

If you are trying to use it for Wordpress, maybe this answer can help. I've not tested it myself, but could be useful.

Thanks for the link Hugo, I appreciate the help. I'm not using Wordpress but it was a good read nonetheless. I think it's just a security thing with Yahoo and the only real solution is to move on to a better host. Oh well, what can you do right?

Thanks again for your time and my apologies for the late delayed response.
