Preferably with MYSQL. I've gone through a few online and none of them are working out very well for me.

Courses Plus Student 26,868 PointsWhenever you wanna integrate real search into Rails app, ElasticSearch is the way to go. It's used by BaseCamp, Github, and lots of other popular Rails sites.
