appending an array with values from a dictionary

possible geography gaffes aside, cant seem to figure out how to append the arrays with switch statements and a dictionary. how is this done, or which lecture would help me figure it out?

var europeanCapitals: [String] = []
var asianCapitals: [String] = []
var otherCapitals: [String] = []

let world = [
    "BEL": "Brussels",
    "LIE": "Vaduz",
    "BGR": "Sofia",
    "USA": "Washington D.C.",

    "BRA": "Brasilia",
    "IND": "New Delhi",

Andrew you have the right idea here, but your switching on the wrong value. Switch on the key :) 

var europeanCapitals: [String] = []
