I noticed that in the video the teacher used
function Welcome(props) {
return <h1>Hello, {props.name}</h1>;
}
to define a component but I just took a look at React documentation (https://reactjs.org/docs/components-and-props.html) found that they are using this form instead
class Welcome extends React.Component {
render() {
return <h1>Hello, {this.props.name}</h1>;
}
}
so I don't really know if the treehouse tutorial still relevant
