Array Output in-line

In the video, when displaying the array using print_r or echo, the output is displayed on new lines, but on my screen it is displayed in-line. Why is it different and how can i control it?

I'm not sure why it's displaying to a new line in the video, but you can always wrap what you're printing in a <p> tag to display on a new line:

echo "<p>";
print_r ($my_array);
echo "</p>";

The output needs to be within the

<pre></pre>

tags.
