Art page files

Do we have to make child page to use all plugins ? I just make changes on template, and I made art page with plug ins, but I can't find .php files, I'm not really sure where to look at, there is no file in filezilla folders.. Don't understand that part, can someone please explain? I can download project files on the side, but I'd like to know where to find one I made. Thanks
