Backend

I consider myself a front end developer, but I would like to learn a bit about back end development. Which backend track should I take so I can ease my way into it?

Treehouse offers php and ruby on rails, these two languages are great for backend development. Both have their pros and cons, depending on what your trying to build. Check out these to links, they will offer more extensive knowledge on these languages and help you out on choosing a track. https://teamtreehouse.com/forum/php-vs-ruby-on-rails http://www.comentum.com/ruby-on-rails-vs-php-comparison.html

if you like my answer vote me up or mark for best answer thank you and great coding!

I peeked at both and both look like they will provide tons of help! Thank you so much.
