Background Image Won't Appear

<div class="banner">
      <span class="banner-span">Introducing The First Phone by Luqman</span>
      <h1 class="banner-title">Start Your Journey Here</h1>
    </div>
.banner {
  background: #546e7a url('../img/LPhone 1.6png') no-repeat center;
}

Now the color I applied does appear, but the image just won't show.

dude there is no image type that is .6jpg . I think it should be jpg . Check the file name if its correct or not

No my image is titled LPhone 1.6 and it is a png file. I just forgot to add the dot before png. So I changed it to LPhone 1.6.png and it worked.
