Basic questions about Python

Hello,

I am brand new to Python. I am wondering if the var keyword to declare a variable and semicolon to end a statement can be used in this language.

thanks

Well, you actually can end lines with a semicolon if you want, but the convention is to not use it. Also, if you use the var keyword to define a variable, Python will probably cause a Syntax Error. Good luck learning Python!

Hope this helps, Alex

Thanks Alexander! I will definitely need luck!

No problem :)
