Hi,

Your nav is inside the anchor tag instead of after it. Try changing:

<a href="index.html">
      <nav>
        <ul></ul>
      <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
      <h2>Designer</h2>
     </nav>
          </a>

to:

<a href="index.html">
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul></ul>
      </nav>

Hope that helps :)
