Been stuck on this forever and i really need help

I don't understand why I can't get this. It's just not making sense and I would really like to move on in Python but I can't get this.

disemvowel.py
def disemvowel(word):
    new_word = ''
     for letter in word:
        if letter.lower() not in 'aeiou':
            new_word += letter
    return word

You need to return new_word rather than word. Other than that your logic is perfect.

Make sure your indentation is correct too. That for loop looks like it starts one space further in that it should, and that makes a difference in Python.
