Best PDF Generation Libraries

Hi Guys

I see many companies (e.g. banks and credit card providers) that provide the ability to download things such as PDF statements from your account.

I am wondering how they generate them.

What tools and libraries do they use to accomplish this?

I am strong in JavaScript, so any library in JavaScript would be great, but I know there are other libraries for different languages such as FPDF for PHP.

Any recommendations?
