Better way of testing for suit?

Wouldn't it be easier to add an isRed() function to the Card class?

fun isRed(): Boolean {
    return redSuits.contain(suit)
}

and then in suitCheck()

fun suitCheck(c1: Card, c2: Card) = c1.isRed() && !c2.isRed()
