bg-main.jpg is only showing up in I.E.

For some reason bg-main.jpg is only showing up in I.E. I'm using the project files found under the 2-building-and-customizing-the-blog\v2\webconfs folder.

When I attempt to open the files in chrome or firefox. The image does not display.

Please advise.
