Bid Idea Vignette and Storyboard.

Are storyboard just vignettes combined together, or is Storyboard different from the Vignette discussed on the previous video?

Hey Tariq! They are different but work in collaboration. The Big Idea Vignette is an overall idea of a possible solution (and it's normally a collection of ideas/solutions while performing the method). Big idea vignettes describe how a user experience's a solution as opposed to features. It can include metaphors to help express the idea such as "It's like uber eats but for local craft shops". Big Idea Vignettes are not features though. Features describe the implementation of the solution. This would be something like "real-time delivery tracking" for the last idea I mentioned.

Storyboarding is a visual form of storytelling used to depict the users' journey. It should have an arch that follows the user's new journey without focusing on the interface. It should start from discoverability (how they came to realize they had a problem and how they found a solution) and work its way through positively using the solution, ending a positive result.

A Storyboard method (or exercise) would be used to fully flesh out the experience of how the decided big idea vignette is introduced to a user and how it impacts the user in their daily life/workflow.

Let me know if that helps at all. πŸ˜ƒ
